Mora Reprimanded – After making public comments about the Pac-12 officials following Saturday’s game against Arizona on Saturday, the conference has reprimanded UCLA head coach Jim Mora. The Bruins won the game 45-24.
No Signature For You – With the growing popularity of quarterback Lamar Jackson and the Louisville Cardinals, the athletic department has put a kibosh on players signing autographs on items because of worries of NCAA violations.
“We decided to take this measure as more of a proactive approach to protect the eligibility of our student-athletes,” a Louisville spokesperson said in a statement provided to ESPN. “Furthermore, certain steps needed to be taken to insure that third parties were not benefitting commercially on the signatures of the student-athletes.”
Things Get Worse For Purdue – The Boilermakers football program is definitely sinking into abyss as they fell to 2-2 on the season after a blowout loss to Maryland, but even Purdue’s field at Ross-Ade Stadium is struggling, as a big sinkhole as appeared in one of the end zones of the stadium after a water pipe broke this weekend. There shouldn’t be many worries by anyone but the opposition, considering they’re the only ones who seem to reach that part of the field nowadays.
