Early college football national championship odds for 2016-17 have been released, and a familiar team is sitting on top.
January 12, 2016With Alabama’s 45-40 victory over Clemson for the national championship on Monday night, another college football chapter has officially come to a close.
But with every ending, there is a new beginning. The conclusion of the 2015-16 season means teams can wipe the slate clean and look toward the 2016-17 season.
However, unless they are the Crimson Tide, they may not necessarily like what they see.
Early college football national championship odds have been released for next season by the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook, and Alabama currently carries the best odds at 6-1.
Clemson and Oklahoma have the second best odds at 7-1 each. The Tigers beat the Sooners to get to the title game matchup against the Crimson Tide. Both should be in the hunt once again next season.
Ohio State and Baylor round out the top five at 10-1 and 12-1, respectively.
