New Year’s Eve college football bowl picks.

After a four-game schedule on Tuesday, the bowl schedule is stacked with another four contests on Wednesday, including a couple ACC-SEC showdowns.

    Birmingham Bowl: Auburn vs. Memphis

The Tigers may have lost Will Muschamp and Travaris Robinson from their coaching staff, but that won’t have any effect on their running game. Peyton Barber and Jovon Robinson will pound the rock and hope the Auburn defense can contain Paxton Lynch. The Tigers won’t stop the Memphis quarterback, but they’ll keep him off the field long enough to win the game.

    Pick: Auburn 31, Memphis 28

    Auburn -2.5, o/u: 63.5

Belk Bowl: NC State vs. Mississippi State

In one of two SEC-ACC competitions on the day, the Wolfpack will have its hands full with Dak Prescott. Mississippi State’s defensive line will make plays in the backfield and get to quarterback Jacoby Brissett. Prescott will lead the charge and earn the win with his legs and his arm.

Pick: Mississippi State 34, NC State 26

    Mississippi State -5, o/u: 59

Music City Bowl: Texas A&M vs. Louisville

The other SEC-ACC matchup features the Aggies, who can’t seem to hang on to a quarterback, and the Cardinals. Louisville’s defense will surge into the Texas A&M backfield and make big plays, but the Aggies will lean on running back Tra Carson to carry the load and earn the bowl win.

    Pick: Texas A&M 27, Louisville 23

    Texas A&M -1, o/u: 50.5

    Holiday Bowl: USC vs. Wisconsin

The only ranked team in action on Wednesday, the No. 25 Trojans, will make it tough for the Badgers to run the football. But in a defensive battle, Wisconsin quarterback Joel Stave will do just enough to lead his team to a win.

    Pick: Wisconsin 27, USC 24

    USC -3, o/u: 50.5
