The Colgate Red Raiders and Holy Cross Crusaders will meet on Saturday at Fitton Field, in the first Patriot League game for both teams.

The Red Raiders are winless in their first three games of the 2015 season, with their most recent loss a 29-28 heartbreaker to Yale. Colgate’s offense produced 184 yards and three TDs on the ground, but the defense fell apart down the stretch, allowing 15 fourth quarter points to the Bulldogs.

Holy Cross is an even 1-1 after two weeks and is looking to bounce back from a 29-26 loss at Towson. QB Peter Pujals did it all for the Crusaders, racking up 383 total yards (276 passing, 107 rushing) with a touchdown pass, but it wasn’t enough to upend the Tigers on the road.

Behind Pujals and RB Diquan Walker, the Crusaders hope its balanced offensive attack (220.5 pass ypg, 130.4 rush ypg) will help hand the Red Raiders it’s fourth loss of the season.

This will be the 78th meeting between the two teams. Colgate has won two-straight but Holy Cross leads the all-time series, 40-32-5.
