This is NOT a team of the greatest players in Cleveland Brown history. It’s team of top players drafted and kept by the franchise.
Otto Graham would’ve been the obvious all-time great quarterback, but he was drafted by Detroit. Lou Groza and Marion Motley weren’t drafted at all. Also, Cleveland doesn’t get credit for a great player it drafted, but played somewhere else or spent most of his career on another team.
This is the all-time draft team made up of home grown players who were drafted by, and did most of their big things, with the Cleveland Browns. The one main exception is Paul Warfield, who was special and became a Hall of Famer for Miami, but was special for the Browns before switching teams.
