Christopher Henderson Decommits From Miami Hurricanes
Four-star athlete Christopher Henderson has decommitted from the Miami Hurricanes. Mark Richt's team is now left with 18 total commits in the 2017 recruiting class.

Four-star athlete Christopher Henderson has decommitted from the Miami Hurricanes.
The Miami Hurricanes have a huge weekend ahead with rival Florida State visiting Coral Gables. Head coach Mark Richt has acknowledged how big it will be for recruiting purposes, but his team will be going into the matchup down a commit.
Four-star athlete Christopher Henderson has decommitted from Miami and reopened his recruitment.
The Miami native released a brief statement on Monday morning regarding his decision.
“After discussing it through with my family, I’ve decided to reopen my recruiting process.”
Miami now drops from No. 12 to No. 15 in the 2017 recruiting class rankings following his decommitment.
The nation’s No. 25 athlete and No. 300 overall player currently holds offers from a bevy of top-flight programs, including Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Michigan and Tennessee. Of the teams pursuing Henderson, the Florida Gators should now be considered favorites to land the two-way athlete. Jim McElwain’s staff has long been pushing hard to flip Henderson from the Hurricanes and bring him up the turnpike to Gainesville.
Henderson took an official visit to Florida on September 17 to witness the Gators’ smothering defensive performance, a 32-0 shutout of the North Texas Mean Green. His next official visit is scheduled for October 15 in Knoxville to witness one of the sport’s great rivalry traditions: The Third Saturday in October, a matchup between the Tennessee Volunteers and Alabama Crimson Tide.
