Three-star cornerback Christian Jackson has committed to the Michigan State Spartans. He's the third commitment in MSU's 2018 class.
March 1, 2017Three-star cornerback Christian Jackson has committed to the Michigan State Spartans.
The Michigan State Spartans went down into the Peach State for their fourth commitment in their 2018 recruiting class. On Wednesday, Christian Jackson, a three-star cornerback out of Marietta, Georgia, committed to the Spartans.
Jackson shared the following on Twitter with his decision.
“I would like to announce that I’ve officially committed to Michigan State University, I’d like to thank all the schools that gave me an opportunity to play football on the next level. I’d also like to thank GOD, my family, and Coach Dickerson. God bless #GOGREEN”
Jackson is coming off a visit with Michigan State this past weekend, which was the icing on the cake for the 6-foot-1, 185 pound cornerback. Just prior to his trip to East Lansing, the Michigan Wolverines hosted him in Ann Arbor.
He chose the Spartans over the likes of rival Michigan, NC State, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
The commit comes less than 24 hours after 4-star wideout Joseph Scates decommitted from the Spartans. Jackson joins four-star cornerback Xavier Henderson in the Spartans’ class. Four-star tight end Trenton Gillison and three-star quarterback Theo Day round out Michigan State’s haul so far.
