    Why UTSA Will Win

While the Roadrunners have won just once, they’re competing, losing five times by no more than 10 points. Against an awful Charlotte pass defense, which has allowed 22 touchdown passes, UTSA QB Dalton Sturm will build off last week’s 252-yard, two-touchdown effort.

    Why Charlotte Will Win

Led by DT Larry Ogunjobi, the 49ers are allowing 3.8 yards per carry to rank second in the league. The offense might finally have momentum now that the quarterbacks have finally played competently, throwing three touchdown passes and a pick last weekend.

    What’s Going To Happen?

In the matchup of the recent FBS start-ups, UTSA remains a step ahead Charlotte in terms of overall depth and talent. The 49er O-line is in disarray, which will give disruptive Roadrunner tackles Kevin Strong and Jason Neill a clear path to the backfield.
