Cesar Ruiz Unveils Top 12 Schools, Names Leader

    Twelve schools have made the cut for Cesar Ruiz, one of the nation’s top line prospects.

    One of the top lineman for the 2017 class has taken a step closer to making a decision. On Sunday, Cesar Ruiz, the nation’s No. 2 center, unveiled his top 12 schools.

    Ruiz, who plays at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. alongside some of the other top prospects in the nation – Dylan Moses and Jordan Anthony to name a couple – is eyeing programs from the ACC, Big 12, Big Ten and the American Athletic Conference.

    Michigan currently leads for Ruiz, with Alabama and North Carolina just behind in second and third, respectively. He’s also considering, in order, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, LSU, Clemson, Florida, Auburn, Temple, Miami and Rutgers.

    Ruiz is listed at 6-foot-4, 290 lbs. He is ranked as the No. 177 overall prospect in the nation and No. 1 center in the South.
