    Can Al Golden Save His Job In Miami?

    Al Golden has 28 wins in 50 games at Miami but what will he need to accomplish in 2015 in order to keep his job? Campus Insiders Managing Editor Pete Fiutak is put on the clock to talk Hurricanes with Shae Peppler.

    Yes, Golden inherited an awful situation, with the NCAA thwarting the coach’s attempts to gain early traction. However, that was a couple of years ago, and the time has come to begin producing. 
    The ACC Coastal has been low hanging fruit in recent years, yet the Canes have been unable to pluck it. Golden is just 28-22, sans any bowl wins, and his latest squad finished below .500. Even worse, the NFL Combine in February will reveal that a lack of next-level talent has not been a roadblock to success for Miami. Now that Golden is entering his fifth year, with his most talented quarterback to date behind center, he needs to at least bring a divisional title to Miami in the fall.
