February 28, 2017Cuero, Texas prospect Bralen Taylor announced his top six schools on Monday night.
Tight end Bralen Taylor has taken the next step in his recruitment, narrowing his college options down to a top six. Taylor has flown under the recruiting radar so far, but is starting to turn some heads.
Making the cut were two Big 12 programs – Baylor and TCU – and one each from the American Athletic Conference, ACC, Big Ten and Pac-12 – Houston, Miami, Nebraska and Oregon, respectively.
While Taylor isn’t highly-ranked and is rated as just a 3-star recruit, he is a prospect with huge size. He’s listed at 6’8″ and 221 pounds, and has a ton of upside given the proper development.
Taylor recently competed at The Regional Houston in early February, which triggered the influx of offers. He’s picked up nine since then, including all from his top six schools.
The Cornhuskers were the most recent to offer, extending their’s on Monday, the same day he announced his favorites. Unlike the majority of the schools offering him as a tight end, Nebraska sees him as an option at wide receiver.
