1. Troy Flutie found Charlie Callinan for a 27-yard touchdown in the second quarter, but BC needed Colton Lichtenberg to connect on a 25-yard field goal in the fourth to finally get some breathing room – at least until the ensuing kickoff.
2. NIU got a two-yard Joel Bouagnon touchdown run in the second to tie it, but didn’t get back on the board until the fourth with Aregeros Turner returning a kickoff for a score following the Lichtenberg field goal.
3. Jon Hilliman ran for a 21-yard touchdown late in the third to finally give BC the lead again, and the D was able to hang on.
