    Why Boise State Will Win

After losing two straight, the Broncos will get back on track by riding the legs of RB Jeremy McNichols. The sophomore has rushed for at least 100 yards and a touchdown in each of his last six games, a trend that’ll continue against a San Jose State D allowing five yards a carry and 208 yards per game.

Why San Jose State Will Win

The Spartans need this game for bowl eligibility, and beating the Broncos isn’t nearly as daunting as it appeared a few weeks ago. The vaunted Boise State defense was humbled in back-to-back losses to New Mexico and Air Force, good news for San Jose State’s star RB Tyler Ervin and dual-threat QB Kenny Potter.

    What’s Going To Happen?

Out of the conference title hunt for the first time in years, Boise State will have a hard time getting up for this matchup. San Jose State? It’s fired up and healthier than the Broncos. Ervin will outduel McNichols, sending Boise State to its first three-game in-season losing streak this century.
