    Why Boise State Will Win

Colorado State can’t stop turning the ball over. The Rams have been a nightmare in turnover margin going a -9 on the year and going -2 or worse in four of the five games. The lone bright spot was the UTSA win, going without a turnover, but with 14 in the other four games. Boise State destroys teams on turnover margin, ranking eighth in the nation – the Broncos capitalize on every mistake.

    Why Colorado State Will Win

As good as the Boise State offense has been, it doesn’t do much of anything on third downs. The Broncos are only converting 36% of their third down chances, while the Ram defense has been terrific at getting off the field. Last week, Utah State managed to convert just two of 12 chances, and on the year, offenses have been able to come up with 18 of 71 shots.

    What’s Going To Happen?

Boise State is on fire scoring 52 points or more in the last three games while outscoring Idaho State, Virginia and Hawaii by a combined score of 163 to 14. Colorado State has the firepower to keep up the pace for a little while, but Boise State’s defense will put the clamps down in the second half.
