Big Ten football predictions and schedule for Week 8 of the 2016 season. A full slate of Big Ten action gives us several games where the conference’s top teams should be able to score early and often.
The excitement of last week’s Nebraska-Indiana, Northwestern-Michigan State and Ohio State-Wisconsin tilts surely left Big Ten fans clamoring for more.
Luckily for those fans, Week 8 features a full, seven-game slate of Big Ten action for the first time since Week 5. Conference leaders Ohio State, Michigan and Nebraska are all double-digit favorites as they face Penn State, Illinois and Purdue, respectively.
The conference’s closest matchup will likely take place in Iowa City, as the Hawkeyes hope to continue their season resurgence. They face off against the Badgers, who are coming off a heartbreaking loss in Columbus.
That game, along with battles between Northwestern and Indiana, and Rutgers and Minnesota, kickoff Big Ten action on noon Eastern this Saturday.
