A week after getting man-handled in Columbus, Nebraska will have to rebound Saturday against Minnesota if they want to keep their hopes for a division title alive. The Cornhuskers will hope that star QB Tommy Armstrong will be good to go against the Gophers after Armstrong was knocked unconscious against Ohio State and missed the second half.

The Gophers are squarely in the West division as well, sitting at 4-2 in conference. With Saturday’s game against Nebraska, and their season finale against Wisconsin, Minnesota controls its own destiny in the West. If they win out, they’ll be playing in Indianapolis.

The Cornhuskers will need some help if they want to capture the division. Winning out won’t be enough, as they need Illinois, Purdue or the Gophers to hand Wisconsin another loss if Mike Riley’s team are to have any shot at playing in the Big Ten Championship game.

In the early games Saturday, Michigan State will look to end their seven-game skid against fellow 2-7 team, Rutgers. With matchups against Ohio State and Penn State looming, the Spartans will likely need to win against the Scarlet Knights if they want to avoid going winless in conference for the first time in program history. History favors Sparty though, as they won by six touchdowns the last time the two teams met in East Lansing.
