September 26, 2016Week 4 of Big 12 play features a lighter schedule for the conference, with three teams on a bye – Kansas State, Oklahoma Iowa State.
At 12:00 p.m. ET, Kansas travels to New Jersey to take on Rutgers.
West Virginia hosts Big Ten member Maryland in Morgantown and No. 5 Baylor welcomes in-state foe Rice at 3:00 p.m. ET.
No. 24 Oklahoma State will try to remain undefeated when the Cowboys travel to Austin to take on the Texas Longhorns at 3:30 p.m. ET. The Longhorns are just 1-2 on the season, with losses to Notre Dame and Cal. A win over Oklahoma State is just what Texas and Charlie Strong could use.
In early evening action, No. 3 TCU and Texas Tech square off in the Big 12’s marquee matchup of the day in Lubbock. Both teams are 3-0 entering the game and are ranked in the top 5 in offense. The Horned Frogs currently have the No. 4 offense, while the Red Raiders are one spot behind at No. 5.
