A good portion of the Big 12 either had a bye or played a non-conference game this week, leaving the rankings mostly the same. The only battle in Big 12 play was Baylor’s win over Oklahoma State following a lightning delay.
Here’s how the rest of the Big 12 looks heading into Week 5.
The Cyclones beat San Jose State 44-10. Next up: Baylor
Visits Texas Tech on Thursday night.
The Red Raiders shouldn’t have trouble putting up points on the Jayhawks.
Survived a late rally to beat BYU 35-32.
Had an easy tuneup with Missouri State on Saturday.
Gave Baylor all it could handle before falling short.

The Longhorns have a tough one next week at Oklahoma State.
The Horned Frogs handled SMU easily in a 33-3 win Friday night.
There isn’t a clear College Football Playoff contender in the Big 12, but Baylor is the closest thing to it at the moment.
