October 12, 2016Big 12 Football predictions and schedule for Week 7 of the 2016 season. A week after the Red River Rivalry and a bunch of close calls, Week 7 should provide plenty of more high-scoring affairs, headlined by West Virginia visiting Texas Tech.
Week 6 of the 2016 season lived up to the billing for the Big 12. All the conference’s games were decided by a touchdown or less, and all featured fireworks until the very end.
Week 7 sets up for another quartet of high-scoring matchups, and it kicks off with Kansas State traveling to Norman to face the Sooners and Texas Tech welcoming the West Virginia Mountaineers to Lubbock.
The afternoon game sees Kansas, coming off a near-upset of TCU, going into McLane Stadium to take on Baylor. The night cap has Texas looking to rebound from the rivalry loss to OU at home against Iowa State.
Except for the West Virginia-Texas Tech tilt, the home teams come into the games as double digit favorites. The Mountaineers are one-point favorites over the Red Raiders in a game that could see more than 80 combined points.
Oklahoma State and TCU both have the week off after close wins over upset-minded teams last week.
