Big 12 bowl projections for Week 8. West Virginia dominated Texas Tech and looks like a legitimate threat in the conference.
October 16, 2016Big 12 bowl projections for Week 8. West Virginia dominated Texas Tech and looks like a legitimate threat in the conference.
Dana Holgorsen’s West Virginia squad sits at 5-0 after a 48-17 win at Texas Tech. The Mountaineers are a physical outfit in the Big 12, and it was quite impressive watching Tony Gibson’s defense shut down the Red Raiders offense.
Baylor remains unbeaten as well following its 49-7 win over Kansas, but we haven’t really seen the Bears get tested up to this point. Jim Grobe and Co. will face their biggest challenges in the second half of the season.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma kept its slim College Football Playoff hopes alive with a win over Kansas State.
