Did we see Charlie Strong coach in the Red River Showdown for the final time?
After taking over defensive play-calling duties from coordinator Vance Bedford, Strong saw his defense once again get lit up and fail to show much resistance in a Sooners win on Saturday. The Longhorns need to somehow pick up the pieces and salvage a season in which it has now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Bill Snyder’s still got it. Kansas State beat high-scoring Texas Tech, though the Wildcats still have yet to crack our Big 12 postseason projections.
