Breaking down the best SEC football recruits at each position in the 2017 class, now that National Signing Day has come and gone.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Nick Saban walks into National Signing Day and 24 hours later leaves with the nation’s best recruiting class. Yup, it was business as usual on Wednesday, with the Crimson Tide not only having the top SEC football recruiting class, but the nation’s best. Najee Harris, Tua Tagovailoa, Jerry Jeudy, Alex Leatherwood, Dylan Moses … it was an embarrassment of riches for the Tide.

Elsewhere, one of Saban’s intraconference disciples, Jim McElwain, had himself a nice day. The Gators were one of the hardest closers, notching a top-10 class. Offensive guard Tedarrell Slaton was a big part of Florida’s class, especially considering the program’s recent history of offensive line woes.

Below are the best SEC football recruits at each position from the 2017 class.
