The all-time Baltimore Raven NFL Draft team is far tougher to come up with than you might think. Remember, the Cleveland Browns picks don’t count, so only players from 1996 are there to choose from – some NFL franchises have decades upon decades of options.
So because of it, the Ravens get a free pass for their miserable track record of drafting wide receivers – Torrey Smith was only around for three years – and despite the drafting of Haloti Ngata and Terrell Suggs, the D line drafting is awful.
The secondary isn’t much of a prize, either, but because the defensive front is so bad – it would’ve been nice to have counted Cleveland draft pick Rob Burnett – I’m running a 2-5-4 alignment and I’ll let the dangerous outside linebackers become hybrids.
To get on this list, a player had to have been drafted by Baltimore, and he had to do most of his biggest things with the team.
