The Auburn spring game is set for Saturday, April 9. Here’s A-Day info, including time and how to watch.

After an amazing debut as head coach in 2013, it has been disappointing seasons for Gus Malzahn and his Auburn Tigers the last two years, including a 7-6 record in 2015 after starting No. 6 in the AP Top 25 preseason poll.
Most of last year’s failure came at the quarterback position, as junior Jeremy Johnson and freshman Sean White went back-and-forth starting under center, each producing mediocre results. While both return, the entrance of standout  JUCO transfer John Franklin III will make the position battle an intense one throughout spring and into the fall.
With the departure of 1,000-yard rusher Peyton Barber, the trio of senior Jovon Robinson, junior Roc Thomas, and sophomore Kerryon Johnson will vie for playing time at running back.
On defense, the Tigers welcome their third defensive coordinator in as many years. Kevin Steele was hired from LSU to right a unit that finished 71st in the nation last season under former DC Will Muschamp. Auburn will look to senior Montravius Adams and junior Carl Lawson to provide the leadership needed as the young defense tries to learn yet another new system.
