January 9, 2017Five-star defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon has whittled down his list of potential schools. Solomon is ranked as the nation’s No. 2 defensive tackle and No. 20 overall player.
Five-star defensive tackle has trimmed his list of colleges down to four. Over the weekend, Solomon, who participated in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, unveiled his “Final 4” schools.
Making the cut were Alabama, Georgia, Michigan and USC. Two schools he previously mentioned as having interest in that missed cut were Auburn and Florida.

Last week, prior to Saturday’s high school all-star showcase, Solomon went on the record saying that the Crimson Tide were his clear frontrunner.
“It’s Bama,” Solomon said during an interview. “I just like what they’re doing on defense, I like the swagger they have about themselves right now, nobody can dethrone them right now.
“What do I really want to do, do I want to win championships or be the runner up,” Solomon asked himself following his official visit to Tuscaloosa in November. The ability to compete at the highest level for titles is appealing to Solomon, as the education he’ll receive while in college.
According to Dawg Nation, the order following Alabama is Michigan, Georgia and USC.
Solomon will no longer visit the aforementioned Tigers or Gators, but will still check out the Trojans and potentially his home-state Bulldogs.
Listed at 6-foot-3 and 304 pounds, Solomon is ranked as the nation’s No. 2 defensive tackle and No. 20 overall player.
