January 16, 2017Five-star defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon is set to receive an in-home visit from Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan coaches on Monday.
Since the recruiting dead period ended last week, Aubrey Solomon has found himself with a busy schedule for.
The nation’s No. 2 defensive tackle and No. 20 overall player received a visit from the Alabama coaching staff on Thursday before taking an official visit to USC this past weekend.
And now, Solomon is set to receive an in-home visit from Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh on Monday, as first reported by 247Sports.
Solomon originally committed to the Wolverines on June 18 but later backed off that pledge on Aug. 22 following a controversy regarding a recruiting barbecue and the misspelling of his name on a letter sent from the Michigan staff.
On Nov. 5, Solomon spent one of his five official visits in Ann Arbor for Michigan’s 59-3 win over the Maryland Terrapins.
Earlier this month, Solomon labeled the Crimson Tide as his leader, though Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs are also heavily involved in the race as well. Currently, it’s believed that Solomon will eventually land with either Alabama or Georgia by the time National Signing Day rolls around on Feb. 1.
But that won’t stop Harbaugh from trying to lure Solomon back into Michigan’s 2017 recruiting class. The Wolverines currently have two pledges from defensive tackles: 4-star prospect James Hudson and 3-star recruit Phil Paea. Adding Solomon would be a luxury.
