    Team:Arizona Wildcats

    Conference:
    Pac-12

    Head coach:

    How they got here:
     At-large bid

    The Good

Nobody can complain about the athleticism and ability of the Wildcats to put points on the board in a hurry. This is a team that thrives in transition, and Ryan Anderson is a scorer who can battle inside and hits the glass hard. He also does a great job of getting to the free-throw line. Allonzo Trier, Gabe York and Kaleb Tarczewski all are confident players who play with chips on their shoulders this time of year.

    The Bad

Arizona loves to run, but it can wander a bit defensively and its lacking a leader at point guard who can be a rudder for the team. This also is a team that can rely on its athleticism a bit too much, and Anderson can try to do too much at times on the floor. Playing under control and with poise has been somewhat of an issue for this team.

    Prediction

This isn’t the same kind of Arizona team we’ve grown to know and love. The team scored just three wins over RPI top 50 teams during the regular season, and the Wildcats have been vulnerable. Matchups will be important, but this could be a “name” school that makes an early exit.
