Non-Conference Games BYU, Grambling State, Hawaii
Games vs. the North Washington, Stanford, at Washington State, at Oregon State
– The Wildcats don’t have to go on the road for any of the non-conference games – but it would’ve been nice to have made the trip to Hawaii. The BYU game is in Glendale – win that, and go 3-0 before going into the Pac-12 world.
– The two big games against the South come early on, going to UCLA on October 1st and USC on the 15th. Getting at least a split of those two games and beating Utah makes it an interesting second half of the year.
– The Wildcats don’t have to play Oregon, but they deal with Stanford – at least that’s at home. Going to Washington State isn’t going to be east on November 5th, but hosting Washington and facing Oregon State isn’t that bad.
– Outside of back-to-back dates at UCLA and Utah, Arizona doesn’t play two road games in a row.
– WATCH OUT FOR … the road trip to Oregon State. Arizona is going to be the better team, but it’s a late November game coming before the Arizona State rivalry game. The Wildcats have to be focused.
