Antonio Morrison is absent from the NFL Combine, which is surprising given the important nature of the event for the future of his football career.
February 26, 2016Former Florida Gators linebacker Antonio Morrison is reportedly absent from the NFL Combine.
With less than two months to go until the 2016 NFL Draft gets underway in Chicago, now is the time for former college football players to stand out, particularly at the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine.
The reason the group of 300-plus prospects are all at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis is to give NFL executives, coaches and scouts a first-hand look at their physical abilities.
It’s also a chance for the NFL Combine participants to sell those same NFL execs on who they are as people. They’re trying to convince these general managers to spend millions of dollars and a valuable draft pick on them.
And yes, one Florida Gator just isn’t … there. According to a tweet from Jacksonville Jaguars Radio sideline reporter Rick Ballou, linebacker Antonio Morrison surprisingly isn’t at the Combine.

Now, most of us have never competed or performed at an NFL Combine, but it’s basically a job interview.
Morrison didn’t show up for his interview. The details as to where he is or why he isn’t at Lucas Oil Stadium are not known at this time.
