Amon-Ra St. Brown discusses what he sees in rivals Michigan and Ohio State. St. Brown is a five-star prospect and the No. 1 wide receiver in the nation.
March 8, 2017The Michigan Wolverines and Ohio State Buckeyes’ rivalry is going another round on the recruiting trail. This time for No. 1 WR Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Two schools in the hunt for 5-star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown are rivals Michigan and Ohio State. St. Brown, who’s ranked the No. 1 receiver and No. 2 overall player in the nation for the 2018 recruiting class, says that the Wolverines and Buckeyes are two of the teams pursuing the most right now.
The Mater Dei High School standout sees great things in both programs.
St. Brown has a high opinion of the program Jim Harbaugh is running at Michigan.
“I think Coach Harbaugh is one of the best coaches in college football right now,” he told Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports. “I think he’s stern. I think he does everything right as a head coach. And then just the way they play football I think is great.”
Likewise in regards to Urban Meyer and Ohio State.
“Ohio State hits me up a lot over text. Ohio State is a huge school. They get out some of the best receivers in Michael Thomas and stuff. To go to Ohio State would be big. It’s a great program with Coach Meyer up there.”
In addition to Michigan and Ohio State, St. Brown holds nearly two dozen offers, including Alabama, Miami, Notre Dame, Stanford, UCLA and USC.
