    Nov. 1 at Connecticut 37, UCF 29 And You Care Because … Helped by four interceptions, Connecticut shocked UCF with two Chandler Whitmer touchdown passes

    Nov. 1 at Connecticut 37, UCF 29 
    And You Care Because … Helped by four interceptions, Connecticut shocked UCF with two Chandler Whitmer touchdown passes including plays from 38 and 22 yards away to Noel Thomas, and helped by two Ron Johnson short scoring runs on the way to a 37-21 lead. UCF came up with several big plays to try to stay alive, with J. J. Worton catching a 73-yard touchdown pass and Breshad Perriman coming up with a 16-yard play – to go along with two short touchdown first half runs from William Stanback in the first half – but the final drive stalled at midfield. 
    What Else? Penalties: Connecticut 10 for 102 yards – UCF 8 for 89 yards 
    – Connecticut RB Deshon Foxx ran 11 times for 102 yards and a score 
    – UCF RB William Stanback ran 28 times for 141 yards and two touchdowns 
    – Connecticut DB Andrew Adams picked off three passes

    Nov. 1 at Temple 20, East Carolina 10 
    And You Care Because … The Owls shocked the Pirates with a 63-yard fumble return for a score from Tavon Young and a one-yard scoring dash from Kenneth Harper in the first quarter, and put it away on two-yard Harper run in the third. East Carolina managed a 39-yard Warren Harvey field goal in the second quarter, but didn’t get into the end zone until just over two minutes to play on a two-yard Marquez Grayson run. The Pirates were a disaster, losing five fumbles and committing 12 penalties. 
    What Else? Total yards: East Carolina 428 – Temple 135 
    – East Carolina QB Shane Carden completed 24-of-41 passes for 217 yards 
    – Temple QB P.J. Walker completed 7-of-19 passes for 70 yards and ran 11 times for eight yards 
    – East Carolina RB Chris Hairston ran 21 times for 153 yards

    Oct. 31 Cincinnati 38, at Tulane 14 
    And You Care Because … Cincinnati dominated from the start with a 24-0 first half lead helped by two Munchie Legaux touchdown passes and a Sam Geraci punt return for a touchdown. The Green Wave tried to rally back, getting two touchdowns in the third quarter on a Lazedrick Thompson touchdown run and a ten-yard Charles Jones catch, but Legaux put it away on an 18-yard throw to Shaq Washington. 
    What Else? Cincinnati QB Munchie Leqaux completed 16-of-24 passes for 211 yards and three touchdowns with an interception, and ran three times for 16 yards 
    – Tulane QB Tanner Lee completed 24-of-35 passes for 205 yards and a score 
    – Cincinnati RB Rodriguez Moore ran 15 times for 124 yards and Mike Boone ran 15 times for 113 yards and a score 
    – Tulane RB Dontrell Hilliard ran 11 times for 123 yards

    Oct. 31 at Memphis 40, Tulsa 20 
    And You Care Because … Memphis overcame a 14-3 deficit on an early lost fumble for a touchdown and a 28-yard Derek Patterson scoring catch by ripping off 30 straight points on three of Josh Elliott’s four field goals, a three-yard Paxton Lynch scoring run, and Brandon Hayes scoring runs from 51 and 30 yards out. Tulsa tried to come back late with Dane Evans’ second touchdown pass of the game, but Hayes kept on rolling with a 14-yard score in the final minutes. 
    What Else? Penalties: Tulsa 12 for 111 yards – Memphis 4 for 40 yards 
    – Memphis RB Brandon Hayes ran 29 times for 199 yards and three scores 
    – Tulsa QB Dane Evans completed 28-of-54 passes for 349 yards and two touchdowns 
    – Time of possession: Tulsa 33:56 – Memphis 24:22 
    Game Rating: C- 

    Nov. 1 Houston 27, at USF 3 
    And You Care Because … Houston sputtered offensively at times, but it got a one-yard Kenneth Farrow touchdown run in the first quarter and a one-yard Ryan Jackson run in the third to cap off two long drives. USF finally got on the board with a 33-yard Marvin Kloss field goal late in the third, but it was all Cougars in the fourth with an eight-yard Farrow touchdown catch and a 24-yard Jackson run for 14 unanswered points. 
    What Else? Houston RB Kenneth Farrow ran 22 times for 112 yards and a score, and caught two passes for seven yards and a score 
    – USF QB Steven Bench completed 12-of-25 passes for 147 yards and an interception 
    – Houston QB Greg Ward Jr. completed 15-of-19 passes for 89 yards and a touchdown, and ran seven times for 26 yards 
    – Total yards: Houston 306 – USF 222
