American Athletic football schedule and game times for Week 6 of the 2015 season. Navy at Notre Dame headlines a big slate of games.
October 5, 2015The American Athletic Conference starts Week 6 of the college football season on Thursday night with a battle in The Lone Star State between the Houston Cougars and SMU Mustangs at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Undefeated Temple hosts the 2-2 Tulane Green Wave to kick things off on Saturday at noon.
At 3:30 p.m. ET, 4-0 Navy will travel to South Bend for a rivalry showdown with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Midshipmen trounced Air Force 33-11 last week in a battle of the service academies, while the Fighting Irish lost 24-22 to Clemson.
The winless UCF Golden Knights try to earn their first victory when they host 2-3 Connecticut. The Huskies have lost their last two games, including a 30-13 defeat to BYU last week.
In a 6:00 p.m. ET kickoff, Tulsa looks to rebound after a loss against Houston when the Golden Hurricanes host the 1-3 Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks. Golden Hurricane QB Dane Evans has passed for 1,498 yards and eight touchdowns this year.
East Carolina travels to Provo to take on BYU in a 7:30 p.m. ET matchup. Both teams are 3-2 on the season.
