1. It wasn’t a breathtaking effort, but Alabama didn’t have any problem as Derrick Henry ran for a three-yard score and Calvin Ridley caught a 15-yard scoring pass for a 14-0 halftime lead and everything the Crimson Tide would need.
2. Jake Coker went almost the whole way, throwing a 16-yard touchdown pass to ArDarius Stewart and a 19-yarder to Michael Nysewander along with the scoring play to Ridley.
3. ULM was stuffed, netting just nine rushing yards and finishing with 92 yards of total offense.
Alabama
– Jake Coker completed 17-of-31 passes for 158 yards and three scores with a pic. Cooper Bateman hit his only pass attempt for eight yards.
– Struggling PK Adam Griffith nailed both his attempts from 40 and 35 yards out.
– Kenyan Drake ran ten times for 65 yards. Derrick Henry ran 13 times for 52 yards and a score.
ULM
– Garrett Smith completed 17-of-37 passes for 74 yards and two picks.
