    Alabama Thanks Derrick Henry In Instagram Video

    Alabama thanked Derrick Henry in an Instagram video following news that he would declare early for the NFL draft.

    Derrick Henry had a herculean season for the Alabama Crimson Tide this year. He rushed for a total of 2,219 yards and 28 touchdowns, and he was major player in Alabama’s 16th national championship.

    When fans speak of the SEC greats, such as Bo Jackson and Herschel Walker, they’ll now have no choice but to mention Henry in the same breath. His rushing and touchdown totals are single-season SEC records, and they’re top 10 in FBS history. He looked unstoppable for the entire season, even for the best defenses in the country.

    With a national title and Heisman Trophy in his case, Henry has decided to take his talents to the NFL. He’ll declare early for the 2016 draft.

    Following news of his decision, Alabama posted the below Instagram video paying tribute to Henry.
