With National Signing Day looming, here’s a look at a mock 2017 recruiting class for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Nick Saban is looking to reload for another run at a national title.

Nick Saban may have been unable to add another national championship to the collection this past season, but nothing will keep him and his staff from trusting The Process and making another run in 2017.

Alabama currently sits at No. 1 in the 2017 recruiting class rankings with 25 total commits. However, the Crimson Tide did lose a pledge from 3-star kicker Brandon Ruiz on Sunday, as he flipped to Arizona State.

With that being said, here is a look at a mock Alabama Crimson Tide recruiting class as the 2017 cycle nears its end.

    Tua Tagovailoa, 4-Star

He’s one of the most improved quarterbacks in the class from this time last year. He throws a beautiful deep ball and can move the chains with his legs.

    Mac Jones, 4-Star

He has all the intangibles you want in a quarterback, as well as a smooth release and calm feet, swift feet. He can beat a team from the pocket.

    Running Back

    Najee Harris, 5-Star

A game-changer. He’s strong, quick, smart and elusive. He may have to wait his turn, but Harris will be good.

    Brian Robinson, 4-Star

He has great balance and vision, and rarely goes down on initial contact.

    Wide Receiver

    DeVonta Smith, 5-Star

It appears Alabama will beat out LSU for his pledge.

    Jerry Jeudy, 4-Star

He has the best footwork out of every wide receiver in this class, and creates separation at the line of scrimmage easily.

    Tyrell Shavers, 4-Star

Shavers is built for the red zone at 6-foot-6, 202 pounds.

    Henry Ruggs III, 4-Star

Alabama will likely beat out Florida and Florida State here.

    Tight End

    Major Tennison, 4-Star

A former Texas commit, he’ll give the Crimson Tide another receiving threat over the middle.

    Kedrick James, 4-Star

He isn’t the receiver Tennison is, but James will be a welcome addition to the running game.

    Offensive Linemen

    Alex Leatherwood, 5-Star

He’s an absolute beast and projects as a star left tackle.

    Jedrick Wills, 4-Star

Wills would benefit from moving inside. He’s nasty, strong and aggressive.

    Kendall Randolph, 4-Star

A great drive blocker, Alabama will have to hold onto his pledge, as a few schools are trying to lure him away.

    Hunter Brannon, 3-Star

Brannon brings a 6-foot-4, 300-pound frame to the interior of the offensive line.

    Thomas Fletcher, 2-Star

He fills a need and will be an excellent voice in the locker room.

    Defensive Linemen

    Aubrey Solomon, 5-Star

Georgia is heavily involved, but Alabama has to worry about Michigan and USC as well.

    Isaiah Buggs, 5-Star

He disengages easily and will eat tailbacks alive.

    LaBryan Ray, 4-Star

The Tide are clearly leading for his commitment right now.

    Akial Byers, 4-Star

He’s a great hand fighter and is very strong.

    Dylan Moses, 5-Star

He’s an athletic freak and a tackling machine. We could be looking at yet another future first-round pick.

    VanDarius Cowan, 5-Star

He’s dangerous off the edge and can break a pocket with his ability to overpower offensive linemen and move laterally.

    Chris Allen, 4-Star

Very few can hit as hard as Allen does. He’ll be valuable in stopping the run.

    Markail Benton, 4-Star

He was born to stop the run.

    Jhavonte Dean, 3-Star

The Crimson Tide are trying to hang onto his commitment.

    Defensive Backs

    Daniel Wright, 4-Star

He’s a sound tackler and is reliable in coverage.

    Xavier McKinney, 4-Star

He has great ball skills and anticipates quarterbacks’ decisions quickly and accurately.

    Kyriq McDonald, 3-Star

He explodes out of his breaks and flashes above average ball skills.

    Chadarius Townsend, 4-Star

He’s very elusive after the catch and can be dangerous in the screen game.

    Class Ranking Prediction: 1-3
