The Miami Dolphins are planning on sticking with Jay Cutler at quarterback despite being shut out 20-0 by the New Orleans Saints Sunday in London.

Things aren’t going as planned for quarterback Jay Cutler in Miami. The Dolphins are off to a 1-2 start after being shut out 20-0 by the New Orleans Saints on Sunday in London.

The 12^th-year quarterback has helped the Dolphins put up a measly six points in the past two games, both of which were losses. The shutout loss in Week 4 was the first for the Dolphins since December 22, 2013, in which Cutler threw for 164 yards and an interception. The interception was Cutler’s 8^th on a throw to the end zone in the last five seasons, which is tied for fourth-most in the NFL.

“It’s not time to panic,” Gase said in his postgame presser. “We’ve been through way worse than this. So we want to figure out what’s going on and then fix the problem. That’s really the only thing we’re concerned about.”

Fans were concerned, however, after seeing Cutler take zero interest in pretending to be a wide receiver while in the wildcat formation.

Cutler is currently on a one-year deal with the Dolphins worth $10 million after considering retirement before the season.

Although Gase says they’re planning on sticking with Cutler at quarterback, we might see Cutler in the booth sooner rather than later.
