Date: Thursday, October 29
Kickoff: 7:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Heinz Field
It’s a battle of a powerful Tar Heels offense vs. a strong Panthers defense that has new coach Pat Narduzzi’s stamp all over it. UNC QB Marquise Williams will give Pitt headaches all night, but the Panthers will grind it out at home.
Pick: Pittsburgh
Spread: North Carolina -3

Date: Friday, October 30
Kickoff: 7:00 p.m. ET
Venue: BB&T Field
The Louisville defense has been outstanding, and that three-game losing streak to start the season seems like a long time ago for Bobby Petrino and the Cardinals. The Demon Deacons are woeful on offense, which will continue on Friday night. Louisville climbs to .500 for the first time this season.
Pick: Louisville
Spread: Louisville -12

Date: Saturday, October 31
Kickoff: 12:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Doak Campbell Stadium
Florida State is coming off a shocking, last second loss to Georgia Tech. Even worse, the Seminoles will be without star running back Dalvin Cook, who is sidelined with an ankle injury. All of this spells good news for Syracuse, but the Orange defense has been an open floodgate to the end zone, allowing 27.1 points per game this season. Notes bounce back, despite Cook’s absence, but it won’t be pretty.
Pick: Florida State
Spread: Florida State -20

Date: Saturday, October 31
Kickoff: 12:30 p.m. ET
Venue: Alumni Stadium
While Boston College’s defense has been solid, the Eagles offense has been horrendous, averaging under 20 points per game this season. Virginia Tech has a better offense, and will be able to do enough on defense for a close win.
Pick: Virginia Tech
Spread: Virginia Tech -2.5

Date: Saturday, October 31
Kickoff: 3:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Scott Stadium
Georgia Tech is coming off a huge win over Florida State, and the triple-option attack, although it’s been inconsistent for the Yellow Jackets this year, always gives opposing teams headaches. Virginia has a hard time holding on to the ball. The Yellow Jackets capitalize on mistakes for a close win.
Pick: Georgia Tech
Spread: Georgia Tech -5.5

Date: Saturday, October 31
Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. ET
Venue: Carter-Finley Stadium
Will the Tigers be looking ahead to their big game against FSU next week? The Wolfpack are a dangerous program in games like these, but Clemson is just too good right now for an upset in Raleigh.
Pick: Clemson
Spread: No Line

What direction will Miami go after suffering the worst loss in program history and having head coach Al Golden fired? It won’t be up this week, as Duke will be too much for the Hurricanes, who will likely be without Brad Kaaya, to handle. The Blue Devils pile on, further embarrassing the Canes for an easy, multiple-score win.
Pick: Duke
Spread: No Line
