ACC football picks and spreads for Week 13, including the showdown in the Swamp between the Florida State Seminoles and Florida Gators.

ACC football picks and spreads for Week 13. The schedule kicks off on Friday in a game between the Miami Hurricanes and Pittsburgh Panthers. Can the Hurricanes improve to 8-4, or will the Panthers take another step forward in Pat Narduzzi’s first season with their ninth win? Scroll down for this week’s ACC picks.
Miami (FL) vs. Pittsburgh
Date: Friday, November 27
Kickoff: 12:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Heinz Field
Pitt’s only two slip ups in the last eight games have come against North Carolina and Notre Dame — two of the hottest teams in the nation. Miami has played commendably since Al Golden’s firing, but Brad Kaaya has his hands full with the Panthers defense. Coach Pat Narduzzi gets his ninth win in just his first season with the program.

Georgia vs. Georgia Tech
Date: Saturday, November 28
Kickoff: 12:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Bobby Dodd Stadium
“Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate” never fails to entertain. This year the rivalry game is the Super Bowl for each team, as both have underperformed. Georgia RB Sony Michel is going to have a big day, helping to somewhat heal the Dawgs’ 2015 wounds.

Louisville vs. Kentucky
Date: Saturday, November 28
Kickoff: 12:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Commonwealth Stadium
Kentucky is hungry for a bowl berth. The games in Lexington and despite Louisville already securing a bowl spot, the Cardinals just aren’t very good. Mark Stoops punches his ticket to the postseason.

Clemson vs. South Carolina
Kickoff: 12:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Williams-Brice Stadium
Clemson has its eyes on the College Football Playoff prize and South Carolina would like nothing more than to knock the Tigers out of the championship hunt. Despite the latter, Clemson is playing on too high of a level right now. Tigers win easily.

Virginia Tech vs. Virginia
Date: Saturday, November 28
Kickoff: 12:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Scott Stadium
A win and Frank Beamer will get one more game as the Hokies head coach with a bowl berth. The Cavaliers haven’t been able to find any sort of consistency this season and have yet to string back-to-back wins together. That’ll continue this week.

Syracuse vs. Boston College
Date: Saturday, November 28
Kickoff: 12:30 p.m. ET
Venue: Carrier Dome
Two 3-8 teams enter, only one leaves with a fourth win. Boston College’s defense has been stellar. The Eagles offense? Not so much. Syracuse has played well at home, while Boston College has yet to secure a win on the road. All of the above spells trouble for the Eagles.

Duke vs. Wake Forest
Date: Saturday, November 28
Kickoff: 12:30 p.m. ET
Venue: BB&T Stadium
The Demon Deacons haven’t been able to score all season, and will finish the year averaging less than 20 points per game. Luckily for Wake Forest, its facing a Duke team that’s a complete mess right now. Wake rides the home crowd to the upset.

North Carolina vs. NC State

Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. ET
Venue: Carter-Finley Stadium
Tar Heels QB Marquise Williams leads an offensive attack that averages more than 40 points per game, but will face a Wolfpack front seven that can cause problems. The NC State offense is led by QB Jacoby Brissett who can point up points in a hurry as well. It’s going to be a back and forth affair with North Carolina making a couple more plays than NC State.

FSU vs. Florida
Date: Saturday, November 28
Kickoff: 7:30 p.m. ET
Venue: Ben Hill Griffin Stadium
It’s always nice when these two get together with top 15 rankings. Florida is the SEC East champ, but has looked anything but as of late. The demons will finally catch up to the Gators, who are missing a slew of important defenders. Dalvin Cook will eclipse 100 yards with a couple of scores as the Seminoles steal one in The Swamp.
