Clemson is a obviously a lock for the College Football Playoff, but was North Carolina strong enough to get a spot in the Peach Bowl?
Florida State is almost certainly going to the Russell Athletic vs. the Big Ten if UNC gets into the New Year’s Six, and then it’s going to be a free-for-all. The ACC has a pecking order, and there’s no real worry about Notre Dame taking away one of the spots, so it should be relatively easy after the top spots are filled.
If the ACC doesn’t get two teams into the New Year’s Six, it’ll be able to fill out all the spots. If North Carolina is in the NY6, it’ll fill the Quick Lane Bowl opening.
