Last weekend was a rough one for James Robinson.
The four-star wide receiver recruit was cited for marijuana possession during his official visit to Ohio State, according to a report.
The run-in with the law cost him on the recruiting trail, as the Buckeyes have removed him from consideration due to the indiscretion.
Robinson took to Twitter to clarify that he was not, in fact, arrested.
I was never arrested!!

The Under Armour All-American from Lakeland, FL, was charged with one count after being found in possession at an off-campus apartment on Jan. 21, according to Franklin County Municipal Court records. He returned to Florida the next day and is scheduled for arraignment on March 1.
Robinson must pay a court fee of $93, and the misdemeanor charge carries a maximum penalty of $150.
The 6-4, 207-pounder is one of the better wide receivers in the Class of 2017. He was scheduled to take his last official visit to Ole Miss this weekend.
Robinson is expected to announce his decision on National Signing Day, and he will choose between Clemson, Florida, Oklahoma and Oregon. In-state Florida is considered the favorite.
