Jackson is commitment No. 19 for Auburn in the Class of 2017.
Even though Auburn offered Jackson earlier this year, three weeks ago he had listed USC as his No. 1 school. So, despite growing up an Auburn fan, it was a mild surprise that he chose the Tigers. Florida and Ole Miss were also among his many offers.
As of now, Jackson remains scheduled to make an official visit to the school in January.
With the Tigers losing Montravius Adams, Devaroe Lawrence and Maurice Swain following the team’s Sugar Bowl contest against Oklahoma, Auburn will be focusing on developing depth up front. And Garner has shown that he has no problem rotating a lot of bodies in and out, so Jackson could see the field early on The Plains.
