San Diego State isn’t the team it was last season, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t dangerous.

St. John’s learned that the hard way, getting worked over on the defensive end by the Aztecs and getting smoked on the boards. The Red Storm rallied to close the gap late, but there was too much experience left on the SDSU roster to allow St. John’s to pull off the comeback. San Diego State can still hurt teams inside and out, still wear them down on the defensive end.

SDSU locks down on the perimeter, and the team’s work on the boards is going to make the Aztecs a tough out.
