    10. Baylor Bears, Big 12

While the Bears blew a chance at the playoff in a loss at TCU, and it wrecked its chance at going to a huge bowl with a loss to Texas, they rolled against North Carolina with an epic bowl performance. Would it have been a different story if QB Seth Russell could’ve stayed healthy? It might have been enough to have won one of the tough late games, but even so, making it a third straight double-digit win season – and a fourth in five years – is impressive.

Wins: 10 – at SMU, Lamar, Rice, Texas Tech (in Arlington), at Kansas, West Virginia, Iowa State, at Kansas State, at Oklahoma State, North Carolina (Russell Athletic Bowl)

    Losses: Oklahoma, at TCU, Texas

Quality Wins: 4 – Texas Tech (in Arlington), West Virginia, Oklahoma State, North Carolina (Russell Athletic Bowl)

Elite Wins: 2 – at Oklahoma State, North Carolina (Russell Athletic Bowl)

Bad Wins: 4 – at SMU, Lamar, at Kansas, Iowa State

Elite Losses: 2 – Oklahoma, at TCU
