SEC Bowl Projections after Week 10: With some big wins by Arkansas and Auburn, more teams from the SEC will fill key bowl slots.

The bottom of the SEC bowl pecking order turned out to be the big winner on Saturday with Auburn’s win over Texas A&M and Arkansas’ thriller over Ole Miss keeping the Tigers and Hogs alive for bowl eligibility. If Kentucky can beat Vanderbilt, to go along with the likely layup against Charlotte, it should get one of the final bowl slots.
The SEC will almost certainly get one team in the playoff and two others in the New Year’s Six bowls, and then it all filters from there.
The best available SEC team goes to the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl vs. the Big Ten’s No. 2 team, and then after that, it’s all up to the bowls and the conference to figure it out – there’s no pecking order. It’ll be all about the best matchups and geography.
But first, Auburn, Arkansas and Kentucky have to do their part and become eligible.
